Definitions
- The “Publisher” is the Academy of Social Science.
- The “Licensee” is the institute or library holding the subscription to the journal or purchasing a digital copy.
- An “Authorised User” is any staff, faculty member or enrolled student of the Licensee who can access it through the Licensee’s online repository or on-site computers.
- The “Material” is the digital copy, in PDF form, of the journal Democratic Modernity, published by the Publisher.
Terms
- Upon subscribing to the journal, licensees may host the digital copy of the Material on their own online repository, accessible to authorised users.
- Licensees and Authorised Users must properly credit and cite the work in the Material when using it.
- Licensees are permitted to conduct Inter-Library Loans to other libraries that are part of the same institution.
- The Licensee and Authorised Users may not use the Material to:
- Alter or modify the Material;
- Systematically copy and disseminate the Material outside of the Licensee’s online repository.
- The Publisher accepts no responsibility for any unforeseen consequences of the use of the Material.
