On July 19, 14 years ago, the Rojava Revolution broke out: a star in the night of capitalist modernity, burning with intensity and lightening up the whole world.
Women have played—and continue to play—a fundamental role in this revolutionary process. For a Revolution that continues to flourish, they have been its roots, providing strength and nourishment; its thorns, building popular self-defense; and its lifeblood, spreading energy everywhere.
The YPJ are the embodiment of this process and the guarantee that the ongoing social transformation and revolution will continue.
This is why they are under attack, and this is why we must defend them.
On an important day like today, we join the many voices from around the world supporting the international solidarity campaign: We are all YPJ, Berxwedan Jiyane, Jin, Jiyan, Azadî!
